ARE YOU ACEs AWARE?

ACES Aware

Adverse Childhood Experiences or ACEs are traumatic life events that come in many forms from abuse, neglect to family dysfunction. They can occur to anyone regardless of who they are or where they come from.

The stress caused by ACEs can negatively impact the minds of young children, increasing their future risk of physical, emotional and mental health conditions such as chronic heart disease, obesity, substance abuse and depression.

Talk with your medical provider if you are concerned that your child is dealing with trauma or toxic stress. If you are an adult who dealt with trauma as a child or are currently struggling with toxic stress or trauma, get help today to ensure a better more successful tomorrow for you and your family.
